Ever wondered who to call or where to look when you have a question about local government? Join us for an enlightening overview of who does what and how decisions are made within the complex structure of boards, agencies, commissions and county staff here in New Hanover County.

Avril Pinder, New Hanover County's deputy county manager, will be our speaker. Ms. Pinder has worked with New Hanover County since 2006 when she joined the Finance Department. She served as finance director and assistant county manager prior to assuming her current position in 2015. Ms. Pinder, a certified public accountant, received her undergraduate and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Delaware State University. She recently received the Credentialed Manager designation from the International City/County Management Association.

Plan to join the League of Women Voters of the Lower Cape Fear for this informative program. We meet at McAlister's Deli on College Road, with lunch beginning at 11:30 and the program from 12:00-1:00. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
